Apartment Owners at Churchill Retirement Living’s Riverain Lodge in Taunton had a fun time at an event on Friday 10th November to celebrate ‘Movember’ and raise money for the men’s health charity.
Everyone enjoyed getting together in the Riverain Lodge Owner’s Lounge to show off some impressive moustaches, take some fun photos, and support the Movember initiative, which aims to raise awareness and funds to make a difference in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Lodge Manager Helena Wellington said: “It was great to see the apartment Owners getting together to have a good laugh and raise money for an excellent cause. We’re delighted that the Churchill Foundation was able to match our £88.60 fundraising and double the total amount to £177.20, which all goes to the Movember charity. Fun and sociable events like this are what the Churchill lifestyle is all about!”
