Over £7,800 From the 2022 Winter Warmer Events Benefit More Than 50 Charities through The Churchill Foundation

During February 2022 Churchill Retirement Living raised over £7,800 for more than 50 different charities through the return of our “Winter Warmer” events held in Lodges across the country.

All the money raised goes towards local causes chosen by our Churchill Owners and Colleagues. These included hospices, food banks, mental health services, children’s organisations and many more.

Mount’s Bay Lodge in Penzance achieved the highest fundraising total, for Cornish Air Ambulance. Other top fundraisers included Betjeman Lodge in Ludlow who raised funds for Hope House Children’s Hospice, Headley and Emmeline Lodges in Surrey who collected for Princess Alice Hospice, and Avonbank Lodge in Newbury who raised funds for Newbury Cancer Care. These top fundraiser’s funds were matched by the Churchill Foundation to double their fundraising total.

Thanks go out to all our Lodge Managers, Sales Executives and Colleagues who helped make the annual Winter Warmer events such a success for their community charities.
