The Churchill Foundation hosted a vibrant “Colour Run” for Head Office Colleagues in Ringwood on Friday 11th August, which helped to raise over £400 for charity.
Around 50 Colleagues and their family members took part in the event, in which participants could either run or throw paint – or a combination of both. Donations went towards the Churchill Foundation charity, which in turn supports a wide range of good causes across the country.
Staff from the local branch of Anytime Fitness led an exhilarating warm-up and provided some excellent support during the run, whilst Ringwood School kindly provided their playing field as a venue for the event. To complete the afternoon of teambuilding and fundraising, the run was followed by a BBQ for team members at the company’s head office.
Churchill Foundation Manager Nicola Wallace-Walton said: “It was great to see everyone embracing the fun and getting covered in powder paint for a good cause! We’d like to say a big thank you to Ringwood School for allowing us to use their playing fields, to Anytime Fitness for getting involved and leading the warm-up, and to everyone who took part and helped to make the event such a success.”
